Treatment for ADHD

Conventional treatment for ADHD in adults usually will involve medication, skills training, education and counselling. A combination of these treatments is often most effective. They can help manage the symptoms of ADHD but they cannot cure the condition.

Cannabis medications have been found in some patients to be extremely effective in reducing some of the symptoms of ADHD, including assisting agitation, emotional regulation and reducing hyperactivity. It can also improve focus and restore a sense of control and calm. Cannabis medication can be taken in several forms, including tablets, oil tinctures and specialised cannabis flower vaporisers.
